ABOUT ATLAS DEVELOPMENT
On a summer afternoon in Southern California, a group of junior mountain bikers were inspired to create a unique student-run cycling program: Atlas Development. Today, our thriving team proudly hosts a diverse collective of racers from across Southern California united by a shared passion for cycling.
Youth Leadership
Here at Atlas, we pride ourselves in having a unique way of running our team. Though we do have adult coaches and advisors, the team is owned and run entirely by the riders. Every decision on the direction of the team is dictated not only by athlete leadership, but also by a collective consensus of the riders. We strive to bring out our riders full potential. Often times this is a combination of elements both on and off the bike. Giving our group of racers the opportunity to take the responsibility of team management and direction into their own hands is a large part of our mission.
